A delicious and correct tomato paste must have a homogeneous structure and good storage duration. To get just such a product, you need to know some subtleties:

  1. A thick paste can only be prepared from fleshy varieties of tomatoes in which there are few juice. As a rule, such varieties ripen at the end of summer. They should also not be overripe, because rotten pulp can give an unpleasant taste and smell to the entire product.
  2. Only tomatoes without skin and seeds are suitable for pasta - this is how you can provide a homogeneous consistency of the workpiece.
  3. You can grind tomatoes differently. Sometimes they are immediately cleaned from the skin and seeds, and then twisted through a meat grinder or beaten with a blender. It happens that tomatoes are cut into pieces and boiled, and then rubbed through a sieve in a cooled form, discarding waste. If the house has a juicer with a special nozzle intended specifically for tomatoes, you can use it.
  4. For a density of tomato paste, you need to get rid of excess juice. To do this, ground tomatoes are placed in a fabric bag and suspended at a height above the sink or a bowl of at least 8 hours until the liquid is draining. Often the pulp is simply boiled to the desired consistency on the stove, in a slow cooker or in the oven.

This recipe for tomato paste in a slow cooker can be called basic. No fragrant spices are added to it, just salt and sugar. The sauce combines only the taste of tomatoes and onions themselves. Here are the ingredients for such a tomato paste:

  • ripe fleshy tomatoes - 3 kg;
  • onions - 200 g;
  • dining vinegar 6% - 0.5 cups;
  • sugar - 100 g;
  • salt is to taste.

We prepare tomato paste according to the base recipe in a slow cooker:

  1. We wash the tomatoes and cut out rotten and spoiled places. You can not even remove the stalks, we still eliminate them during the grinding of tomatoes through a sieve.
  2. Cut the vegetables with halves or quarters, put in the bowl. We cut in half and peeled onions, we also lower it into the bowl. Pour 0.5 cups of water, select the “Extinguishing” mode.   • tomatoes - 1 kg;
  • garlic - 50 g;
  • sweet pepper - 1 kg;
  • sharp pepper - 100 g;
  • sugar - 200 g;
  • salt - 60 g;
  • sunflower oil - 100 ml.

Prepare tomato paste with pepper and garlic in a slow cooker:

  1. We put tomatoes in a pan with boiling water and blanch for 5 minutes. Then we cut their skin, plunge into cold water and remove the upper film. Cut the tomatoes with quarters, take out the seeds with a spoon, the pulp with a blender and a perelle into a multicier saucer.

  • tomatoes - 4 kg;
  • sugar - 300 g;
  • salt - 30 g;
  • onions - 300 g;
  • bay leaf - 4 pcs.;
  • apple vinegar - 1 cup;
  • cinnamon - 1 tsp;
  • fragrant pepper - 0.5 tsp.;
  • rosemary - 10 g.

This is how tomato paste is done in a slow cooker:

  3. We will return the wiped mass to the bowl and put salt, seasonings, bay leaf, sugar. Again, click on the “Extinguishing” button. We boil tomato paste in a slow cooker by 4 times.
  4. Pour vinegar into it, stir and immediately roll into small containers, which by that time should already be sterilized with the lids.

Tomato paste can be boiled for a long time, or you can get rid of juice in another way - let it drain through the linen bag. So we will do this recipe for which we will need:

  • ripe dense tomatoes - 3 kg;
  • large onion - 1 pc.;
  • sour apples - 2 pcs.;
  • dining vinegar 6% - 30 ml;
  • salt, sugar - to taste.

Tomato paste with apples in a slow cooker, we will prepare this:

  1. We clean tomatoes, onions and apples from the peel, seeds. We twist in a meat grinder, then beat with a blender for a more homogeneous structure.
  2. We make a linen bag made of dense cotton. It can be folded in several layers so that the pulp does not leak. Pour the mass into this bag, tie and hang on top so that the juice flows into some kind of container. In this form we leave until the morning.
  3. After night, we transfer the mass of the bag into the shape of a multicooker, salt and sugar. We turn on the “Extinguishing” program and prepare tomato paste in a slow cooker for 40 minutes.
