The right marinade helps you get tasty and guaranteed tender, soft meat. It also sets the main notes of aroma in the dish. In this example, for the marinade we used orange juice, garlic, soy sauce and a piece of fresh ginger root.   • beef – 0.5 kg;
  • prunes – 100 g;
  • small shallots – 12-15 heads;
  • soy sauce – 50 ml;
  • orange – 0.5 pcs.;
  • ginger root - a piece 2 cm long;
  • garlic – 4 cloves;
  • black pepper and salt;
  • sunflower oil – 3 tbsp.

Let us describe the cooking process in detail:

  1. For marinating, the meat should be cut to better soak it in the sauce. It is better to cut the beef into not very small cubes.
  2. Mix the ingredients for the marinade: the juice of half an orange, the specified amount of soy sauce, crushed garlic cloves and finely grated ginger root. There is no need to salt the marinade.
  3. The beef will be soaked in this mixture for 1-2 hours.
  4. Prunes need to be cut into 2-3 parts, small onions should be peeled and cut into 4-6 parts.
  5. Pour vegetable oil into the multicooker, heat it, add the onion. Fry until golden. Then add pieces of meat and fry in the “Fry” mode for 10 minutes.
  6. Lay out the prunes, add black pepper, pour in the marinade and transfer to the “Stew” program.
  7. Cook beef with prunes in a slow cooker for 1 hour. We periodically check the amount of liquid and add water if necessary.

In this recipe, we will not marinate the beef before cooking, but we will stew it in beer. Thus, we will get an interesting taste, the meat will acquire an unusual aroma of yeast bread. Here's what you'll need for beef with prunes in a slow cooker:

  • beef tenderloin – 0.5 kg;
  • beer – 1 glass;
  • onions – 2 pcs.;
  • carrot – 1 large;
  • prunes – 100 g;
  • parsley – 1 bunch;
  • salt and pepper.

Prepare beef with prunes in beer like this:

  1. Cut the beef and mix in a bowl with salt and pepper. Heat the vegetable oil and fry the beef cubes in it until crispy, using the “Frying” mode for this.
  2. Add the onion, having previously cut it into half rings, as well as the carrots, shredded into slices.
  3. Cook the dish for 15 minutes, pour in the beer, add the prunes cut into quarters.
  4. Set the “Stew” mode and cook the beef with prunes in a slow cooker for 1 hour.
  5. Add chopped fresh parsley and leave the roast in the heating mode for another 10 minutes.

Alcoholic drinks, especially wine, are very often used in marinades and sauces for meat, making it softer and adding an unusual taste. We will prepare beef with prunes in dry red wine and tomato in a slow cooker using the following:

  • beef – 700-800 g;
  • prunes – 200 g;
  • tomato – 1 glass;
  • dry red wine – 150 ml;
  • onion – 2 heads;
  • butter – 100 g;
  • vegetable oil – 2 tbsp;
  • dried basil – 1 tsp;
  • black pepper, salt.

Let's prepare beef with prunes in a slow cooker in several steps:

  1. Heat a piece of butter in the “Frying” mode, meanwhile, cutting the washed beef into medium-sized cubes - approximately 3x3 cm.
  2. Fry the meat cubes in hot oil without salt and spices. When we get a golden crust, transfer the beef to a clean bowl and pour red wine into the oil.
  3. Boil the wine for 2 minutes and pour into a bowl with beef.
  4. Pour vegetable oil into a bowl and saute the chopped onions in it. Pour in the tomato, salt it, and simmer the onion for about 10 minutes.
  5. Add the meat and wine to the onion. Pepper, add salt to taste, simmer for 1 hour.
  6. Add prunes, cut into quarters, and dried basil. Simmer the beef and prunes in the slow cooker for another 15 minutes.

We will get more tender and spicy meat if we marinate it in spices all night. But if you don’t have that much time, then leave the beef in the seasonings for at least a couple of hours. We will cook beef with prunes and sweet apples in a slow cooker from:

  • beef – 700 g;

  • lemon juice – 2 tbsp;
  • sweet apples – 2 pcs.;
  • prunes – 100 g;
  • dried paprika – 1 tbsp;
  • dried nutmeg – 1 tsp;
  • ground allspice – ¼ tsp;
  • sunflower oil – 3 tbsp;
  • sugar – 2 tbsp;
  • salt - to taste.

The cooking recipe includes the following steps:

  1. Before marinating, cut the beef into cubes. Then sprinkle it with paprika, salt, allspice, nutmeg, and lemon juice. Mix the meat with seasonings and leave to marinate overnight or just a few hours.
  2. Before cooking, preheat the multicooker with vegetable oil using the “Baking” mode. Fry the beef for 10 minutes.
  3. Pour the tomato into the bowl, add salt and sugar. We activate the “Stew” mode and simmer the meat for half an hour.
  4. Cut the prunes into pieces, after 30 minutes add them to the dish. We cut the apples into slices with the peel, but first remove the seeds from them.
  5. Simmer the beef with prunes in the slow cooker for another 20 minutes.

According to this recipe, we bake meat in a slow cooker under a sweet sauce of sugar, pepper and cinnamon. We use the following ingredients for beef with prunes in a slow cooker:

  • beef – 0.6-0.7 kg;
  • prunes – 0.5 kg;
  • goose fat – 2 tbsp;
  • sugar – 4 tbsp;
  • onion – 1 head;
  • wheat flour – 1 tsp;
  • water – 1 glass;
  • cinnamon – 0.5 tsp;
  • salt, pepper

Let's cook beef with prunes and sweet gravy in a slow cooker:

  1. Cut the meat into cubes. Melt the goose fat in a slow cooker and fry the pieces of beef until crisp. Then add chopped onion and fry it along with the meat, salt the dish to taste.
  2. Wash the prunes, cut them, and place them on the beef in an even layer.
  3. Pour sugar into a frying pan, put it on the stove and fry until dark.
  4. Pour in 1 cup of boiling water. Dissolve flour in 1-2 tbsp. cold water and pour into the frying pan. Stir until thickened.
  5. Add cinnamon and pepper to the sauce.
  6. Pour the sauce onto the meat, set the “Baking” mode and bake the beef with prunes in a slow cooker for 1.5 hours.

In this recipe we use prunes not whole, but as a puree. Of course, to prepare the dish you will have to buy plums that are not too dried, but rather soft. Here is a list of products from which we will prepare beef with prunes in a slow cooker:

  • beef tenderloin – 1 kg;
  • maple syrup – 1 tbsp;
  • prunes – 300 g;
  • soy sauce – 50 ml;
  • cloves - 15 buds;
  • coriander – 0.5 tsp;
  • nutmeg – ¼ tsp;
  • black pepper and salt.

Prepare beef with prunes in a slow cooker like this:

  1. Wash the prunes and soak in boiling water for a few minutes. Then use a blender to puree it. Mix with soy sauce, nutmeg, black pepper and coriander, and also add maple syrup.
  2. We wash the whole meat, dry it, make cuts along the entire tenderloin and insert clove buds into them.
  3. Then we make diagonal cuts throughout the piece so that the beef absorbs more sauce.
  4. Spread the tenderloin with prune paste and wrap it in 2 layers of foil.

  6. After an hour, make a cut in the foil, unfold it a little to expose the meat, and cook it for another 30 minutes.

  1. Chop the meat into small pieces, prepare the vegetables and mushrooms. Chop everything into not very small cubes.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a multicooker and fry the beef in the “Frying” or “Baking” mode.
  3. Salt the meat, add all the vegetables and mushrooms.
  4. Close the lid and turn on the “Extinguishing” option. While the meat is simmering with vegetables, wash and cut the prunes.
  5. Mix tomato paste with sour cream, dilute with water until smooth, add salt.
