Khachapuri in a slow cooker

Georgian cuisine gave us a whole many delicious culinary works, one of them was Khachapuri. This hearty cake is prepared mainly with cheese filling, but sometimes meat, herbs or other ingredients are placed in it. There are quite a few recipes for Khachapuri in our country, most of them are not difficult, and some are generally done "in a hurry." In this article, we would like to talk about how to cook khachapuri in a slow cooker.

For some types of khachapuri, the dough is made using yeast, but there is no such ingredient in this recipe, so the base is prepared much faster. In the filling of dishes, 2 types of cheese are used: suluguni and any hard cheese. We list those ingredients that we need for the preparation of khachapuri in a slow cooker:

  • white wheat flour - 700 g;
  • sour cream - 0.5 kg;
  • eggs - 2 pcs.;
  • sugar - 1 tbsp.;
  • salt - 1 tsp;
  • sunflower oil - 3 tbsp.;
  • soda - 1 tsp;
  • butter - 20 g;
  • hard cheese - 200 g;
  • suluguni - 0.5 kg;
  • yolk - 1 pc.

Khachapuri on a stray test in a slow cooker is done as follows:

  1. Choose a suitable bowl in which we will prepare the dough. Pour sour cream there and add soda. Mix the whisk and leave for 5 minutes so that the soda reacts with the acid.
  2. We break into the same bowl 1 egg, a rally sugar and salt, mix.
  3. First, we sift the flour into another vessel to break the lumps and saturate it with oxygen. Then gradually pour the flour into a bowl with sour cream, mixing the dough first with a whisk, and then with the hands. The dough for khachapuri in a slow cooker should be soft, elastic, not too cool, but also well wandering at hand.
  4. At the end of mixing, add vegetable oil to the dough. Once again we knead it well, cover it with a film and set aside for 20-30 minutes.
  5. Grind the cheese for the filling in any convenient way, for example, rub on a grater or scroll through a meat grinder. We pour part of the hard cheese into a small bowl to decorate the khachapuri on top. Mix suluguni with the remaining hard cheese, drive the second egg into the filling, mix the components.
  6. We spread the “rested” dough on the table, slightly sprinkled with flour. Roll the dough with a rolling pin in a circle. Pour a cheese filling on this circle with a slide, collect the dough like a bag, carefully fasten the edges from above. We pinch the excess, sprinkle the khachapuri with flour and roll out the bag into a cake.
  7. Lubricate the multicooker bowl with butter. Beat the egg yolk with a fork and lubricate the top of the cake. We shift the khachapuri into a slow cooker, sprinkle with hard cheese, set the “baking” mode.

This Khachapuri recipe involves cooking a dish not in baking mode, but in frying mode. In addition, the cheese in this case is not a filling, but rather one of the components of the test. This dish cannot be called traditional, but it is done very quickly. To cook khachapuri in a slow cooker according to this recipe, you will need:

  • flour - 200 g;
  • milk - 250 ml;
  • egg - 1 pc.;
  • salt - to taste;
  • gashenen Soda - 1 tsp;
  • feta cheese - 150 g;
  • gauda cheese - 100 g;
  • butter - 50 g;
  • vegetable oil - 2 tbsp.

Fast khachapuri in a slow cooker are prepared in several simple actions, the sequence of which we will consider below:

  1. We break the egg into a bowl and salt. Beat with a whisk, pour milk and mix well.
  2. Sift the flour into a separate container. In the egg-milk mixture, add soda, bastard vinegar or lemon juice. We add flour in parts to a bowl of milk and cook soft, but not sticky dough.
  3. We rub hard cheese on a grater, and we crush the Feta cheese with our hands or cut into pieces. We introduce both types of cheese into the dough, knead the mass, if necessary, add a little more milk. The dough for khachapuri should not be tough.
  4. Pour a little vegetable oil into the multicooker bowl and add a piece of cream to it. Turn on the "Frying" mode.
  5. From the dough, we form cakes of comfortable diameter. We spread them in hot oil and fry them on one side until golden. Then we turn over and fry the khachapuri in a slow cooker from the back.

A dish cooked quickly and simple, ready for use. The tastes are the most hot in hot form.

This dish does not at all look like khachapuri in the traditional sense, although the ingredients in it are used almost the same. The difference between this recipe lies in the method of preparation, as a result, Khachapuri is obtained not in the form of a cake with filling, but in the form of a magnificent cheese cupcake. To bake such khachapuri in a slow cooker, you will need the following:

  • eggs - 2 pcs.;
  • flour - 1 cup;
  • milk - 200 ml;
  • ghee butter - 100 g;
  • sugar - 1 tbsp.;
  • baking powder - 1 tsp;
  • hard cheese - 100 g;
  • salt - 1 tsp

Step -by -step preparation of khachapuri in a slow cooker can be described as follows:

  1. Power butter on the stove in a small metal bowl. Cool it, mix it with sugar and eggs, and then beat with a mixer.
  2. First, we sift the flour in a dry bowl and mix it with salt and baking powder for the dough. Then pour dry ingredients into an oil-iamic mass and mix.
  3. We heat the milk slightly to a warm state and gradually insert it into the dough.
  4. Three hard cheese on a fine grater, also pour it into the dough and mix the products with a spoon.
  5. Lubricate the multicooker bowl with oil. We shift the dough into it and put the equipment in the "baking" mode.
  6. Cooking khachapuri in a slow cooker for 40-50 minutes.

This khachapuri is based on puff pastry. In order not to cook it yourself and save time, a frozen semi -finished product can be purchased in a store. In the filling of dishes, both the traditional Suluguni cheese and other products are used: ham, onions and herbs. This hearty appetizer has a convenient format, it does not need to be cut into pieces, since Khachapuri is prepared in the form of small envelopes. In such envelopes, the filling retains all its juiciness and aroma. Here is a list of ingredients for preparing such khachapuri in a slow cooker:

  • puff pastry - 0.5 kg;
  • suluguni - 200 g;
  • ham - 150 g;
  • onions - 1 pc.;
  • any greens - several twigs;
  • egg - 1 pc.;
  • yolk - 1 pc.;
  • sunflower oil - 3 tbsp.;
  • salt, black pepper.

What is the process of making khachapuri with ham in a slow cooker, we will figure out in more detail:

  1. Cut the ham in small cubes, finely chop the peeled onion. We put a frying pan with a small amount of vegetable oil on fire. Pour the onion into the oil, fry it to a soft state, then add the ham and fry the ingredients together for a few more minutes.
  2. Three cheese on a coarse grater. When the ham is fried, add cheese to it and mix.
  3. My greens, shake, finely chop and pour into the filling. If necessary, the ingredients can be salted to taste and add spices.
  4. The dough, previously thawed, put on the table and roll out with a rolling pin into a thin layer. Its thickness should be about 3-4 mm. This layer is divided into small squares in size about 10x10 cm.
  5. Inside each square we spread a little filling, and then glue the edges of the dough so that the envelopes are obtained.
  6. Lubricate the multicooker bowl with fat and lower the khachapuri into it. Lubricate them with whipped yolk on top.

As in the case of puff pastry, khachapuri according to this recipe are prepared very quickly, only as a basis the finished thin lavash is used here. The filling is a mixture of cottage cheese and smoked cheese, and the dish itself is made in the form of a kind of puff pie. For such khachapuri in a slow cooker, you will need:

  • thin lavash - 2 pcs.;
  • smoked cheese - 200 g;
  • cottage cheese - 250 g;
  • eggs - 2 pcs.;
  • kefir - 1 cup;
  • salt;
  • butter - 20 g.

We start cooking khachapuri in a slow cooker:

  1. We select a large, clean and dry bowl and break eggs into it. Pour kefir to them and beat the products with a mixer.
  2. Smoked cheese is three on a grater and mix with cottage cheese. We suck the filling to taste, if desired, add any spices.
  3. We divide one sheet of lavash into halves. Lubricate the multicooker bowl with a small piece of butter and put half the lavash in it.
  4. The second sheet is torn to large pieces. We separate about a third and moisten it in kefir mass. We lay out these pieces on the lavash that is in a slow cooker.
  5. We lay out half of the cheese-rod filling on top. We wet another third of the lavash in the kefir and again lay out the pieces on the pies with a uniform layer. We distribute the remnants of the filling through the test, which we cover with the last part of the torn into pieces of the lavash, after moistening it in kefir.
  6. We still have another half of the sheet cut in half. We cover her khachapuri in a slow cooker and lubricate the pie on top with the remnants of kefir-icon mass.
  7. We turn on the option “Baking” and cook khachapuri in a slow cooker for 30-40 minutes.
