Since the pie is most often baked about any feast, it was customary to make it large and high, and additionally decorate it on top. If the kournik was intended for the wedding table, then for the bride and groom baked on a separate pie.
The origin of the name of this dish is still controversial. Someone believes that the name of the pies was given by his filling, which was made of chicken meat. Some are of the opinion that the Cossacks came up with the name Kurnik, since the pie was associated with Kuren - their traditional dwelling. A smoke that went through the roof always smoked over the house of the Cossacks. In the same way, steam comes out of the pie through the hole made in the upper part of the dough.

Here we will use two types of fillings: in one put meat, pumpkin and raisins, the second will consist of chicken, dried apricots and millets. The pancakes that need to be done in advance will serve as a layer in this pie. The recipe is simple, but the cooking process is long, but for the festive table such a smoky is a great option. The efforts of the hostess will not be in vain, and the guests will surely appreciate culinary skills. So, we will make cooking a couric in a slow cooker.
For pancakes, we will prepare the following products:
- flour - 1 cup;
- sugar - 1 tbsp.;
- egg - 1 pc.;
- milk - 1 cup;
- butter - 10 g;

- pumpkin - 300 g;

Kournik with buckwheat and mushrooms in a slow cooker
We will make this couric in a slow cooker out of yeast dough, and we, in turn, will cook it on mayonnaise. For a layer of the pie, we bake several pancakes, and put chicken, boiled buckwheat, eggs and mushrooms in the filling. The secret of this recipe is milk sauce. Wrapping them with layers, we will make a kourik juicy and very tender.

Kournik with pork in a slow cooker
We will prepare this couric in a slow cooker on the basis of yeast dough and make two types of fillings for the pie: mushroom and meat. Unlike a traditional recipe, in our kurtica, not chicken, but pork will be present.

- flour - 3 glasses;
- sugar - 1 tbsp.;
- milk - 200 ml;
- egg - 1 pc.;
- ghee butter - 50 g;
- dry yeast - 1 bag per 10 g;
- salt - 0.5 tsp.
Such products will go to the meat filling:
- pork pulp - 250 g;
- salted cucumber - 1 large;
- sour cream - 2 tbsp;
- carrots - 1 pc.;
- azhika is acute - 2 tsp.;
- salt.
We will prepare mushroom filling from these components:
- mushrooms - 200 g;
- onion - 1 pc.;
- sour cream - 2 tbsp;
- black pepper, salt.

- The basis of the kournik in the slow cooker will be a yeast dough, so we will make it in the first place. We heat the milk to a pleasant warm state and add yeast to it with sugar. Mix the whisk until the yeast is dissolved. Then add 1 cup of flour, mix once again and put the dug into the heat for half an hour.
- Egg with salt with a whisk. Pour this mixture into the approaching dough, add melted and chilled butter, as well as the remaining flour. Mix it all to make an elastic soft dough. We put it in a warm place for 1 hour.
- Now let's start preparing the filling. First, make meat. We cut the pork in small pieces and put it in a pan. We pour a little oil, add the carrots chopped with cubes and fry for 10 minutes. Now add the chopped salty cucumber, sour cream, adjika and salt to taste. Mix, tap it for another 5 minutes, set aside.
- Fry the washed and crushed mushrooms with the bow. Sumber, put sour cream in the pan, add a little black pepper. We fit the mushrooms for 5 minutes, cool the second filling.
- We will hesitate the approaching dough and divide into 6 parts. Roll one piece in a cake and put in a bowl, previously greased with oil. We will form sides. We distribute half the meat filling on top. We also roll out the second piece of dough into the pancake and cover the filling. Lay half the mushrooms with a uniform layer. Now we cover the pie with another layer of dough, distribute the remnants of the pork along it. We roll out another cake, put it on the kournik and cover it with the second half of the mushroom filling.
- From the last part of the dough we will make another large pancake, we will cover it with a kourik in a slow cooker, connect the edges of the upper and lower sheets.
- We will make an incision on top. In the "baking" mode, bake a kournik in a slow cooker for 40-45 minutes.
